This article covers these topics:
The dashboard provides a code editor to directly access the underlying code of a project. When your project is open (i.e. when you are viewing the question list, or editing any question), click the code tab to view and edit the code. You can then use the question list in the left-hand pane to display the code for any item in your project; if you click one of these items, its code appears in the right-hand pane. Simply make your changes in the right-hand pane, and click save to apply your changes. You can return at any point to the standard view of your project; to do so, simply click the design tab.
The editor provides the following options:
|Theme||Allows you to change the colour scheme of the editor window. The choice is between light and dark.|
|Full width||Allows you to view and edit the XML code using the full width of the browser window (i.e. hiding the left-hand pane).|
|Validation||If you wish, you can use this option to disable the built-in code validation feature.|
|Logic help||Opens the Lumi Say documentation.|
You can search the code directly.
To search the code:
- In the left-hand pane, click search.
- In the search box, enter the text you want to search for.
- Click search. All occurrences of the searched text will be displayed in the left-hand pane.
The code editor has an built-in validation check that helps scripters by highlighting code errors. With validation switched on, any errors in the code are highlighted in red when you click save. If this happens, click go back and fix errors. The code errors will be marked by a red 'x' next to the related code lines. More information is also available about the errors. To view it, click click here to see validation errors above the editor.
